Building on the Rock of Jesus & His Word

Christ-Centered

At St. Peter’s, we strive to nurture each student’s faith through God’s Word, provide excellence in Christian and academic instruction, and support families as we prepare students to live out their faith in daily life, serve others with their God-given gifts, and grow as faithful citizens and future leaders in the church and community.

Christian ABC’s

All new non-members are encouraged to attend St. Peter’s Bible Information Class. Classes are offered throughout the year, usually on Sunday mornings.

This course introduces participants to the teachings of Holy Scripture as they are taught and believed at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Parents will gain a better understanding of what their children are learning in school and discover ways to support and reinforce that instruction at home.

Singing in Church

Worship is at the heart of our life together as Christians. At St. Peter’s, students are joyfully invited to take part in the worship life of our congregation, sharing their faith through song during services.

Each classroom serves as a choir, giving every student the opportunity throughout the school year to lift their voices in praise and participate in special services, including the beloved Children’s Christmas Service.

Children also have the opportunity to join Inspiration, our Junior Choir (grades 3-8) and our Handbell Choirs (grades 5-8).

Growing in God’s Word

At St. Peter’s, God’s Word is the foundation of everything we do. Through our Biblical curriculum, students learn the truths of Scripture and how those truths shape their daily lives, grounded in the values, mission, and teachings of our church.

Our religion curriculum includes daily devotions and prayer, weekly chapel services, Bible History lessons, Catechism instruction, and the memorization of Bible verses, hymns, and parts of the Lutheran Catechism.
