What is PACE?


P
eople Assisting Christian Education (PACE) is a group of volunteers which exists to promote continuous improvements at the school that support learning and growth opportunities for all students. PACE is open to any interested parents, guardians, staff members and adult congregation members. Anyone in attendance at a scheduled meeting can participate in decision-making, goal setting and any other PACE activities.

PACE exists to provide:

  • Support to the teachers, staff and students of St. Peter’s Lutheran School
  • Resources through fundraising to offer activities, materials and support which otherwise would not be available to the school
  • A connection between home and school
  • Opportunities for volunteering
  • A social and networking resource

What has PACE Done?



Accomplishments and activities of PACE include:

  • Special Activities Club that has already provided:
  • a basic photography class for students
  • an after-school craft activity class
  • Assisted with Kindergarten Roundup and overall school promotion
  • Provided dinner for teaching staff during parent-teacher conferences
  • Provided funds for and filling of Christmas service treat bags
  • Fundraising through craft and bake sales
  • Social gathering at Sunset Supper Club
